Apollo Minerals Ltd. has discovered high-grade zinc and lead reserves at its project in Gabon, the company said Friday.
The discovery came at the end of an airborne electromagnetic survey on the Kroussou zinc-lead project in Dikaki, the Australian mining company said on state-run Radio Television Gabonaise.
“These high-grade drilling results with reproducible geometries between drill sections continue to demonstrate the potential of the wider Dikaki perspective to host a large zinc-lead mineralization near the surface. The success of the TP11 Dikaki drill has allowed us to focus on testing new regional leads at TP9 and TP13,” Apollo Minerals’ Executive Director Neil Inwood said.
“The airborne electromagnetic survey work on the entire project is now complete and the acquired data is being processed and interpreted,” he said.
Apollo Minerals has two on-site diamond drilling rigs focusing on regional exploration targets TP9 and TP13.
