Nelson Peltz’s Trian Fund Management LP reduced its Sysco Corp. stake to 8.8 million shares as of June 30, down from 11.5 million shares at March 31, according to a 13-F filing on Friday.
Mr. Peltz and Trian partner Joshua D. Frank stepped down from the Sysco board last year, citing “confidence in Sysco’s leadership, business transformation and continued operating momentum.” They joined the board in 2015.
Trian’s largest holdings as of June 30 include Invesco Ltd. with 55.8 million shares, up from 54 million at March 31.
